OldTimer’s Dugout - Off Topic Thread

I will not be happy if Arenado ends up a damn Yankee.
If he puts together another solid 2-3 years, he will receive serious HOF consideration.
I know he is a good player but I didn’t realize his numbers were so good, both in production stats and accolades like 10 Gold Gloves!

As a Jays fan(was 10 when Joe Carter won it all and watching that live became a life long fan from that point on) excited what Max Scherzer can potentially add. Santander from the O's always killed the Jays as well. Looking forward to MLB season.
A Jays fan!!
Do you think Bichette has a bounce back year?

I think he will end up being a 1st ballot HOF. And he has been a multi-year All Star in St. Louis so they can’t hold that Colorado stigma against him like they tried to do with Todd Helton. He was also considered the best 3B in the game for several years. That 5 year stretch he had in Colorado before the Covid season was bonkers.

They are looking like they will get an extension done for Vlad Jr. before the start of the season also. Overall, a good offseason for the Jays. I think we might see them back in the playoffs if everything goes their way. Orioles might take a step back with the losses of Burnes and Santander. The division will always be tough but I think the Jays can compete for a wildcard spot.

I made us triple decker pancakes with as much bacon as possible between the pancakes that were to be eaten like a sandwich with soup bowls of maple syrup to dip the pancakes in. I'm amped up because it's Friday and I don't have any classes today so I/we had two mugs of coffee.

Lunch? IDK

Dinner? THAT I do know. A certain someone had what I thought was an awesome lunch: pork chops and mashed potatoes. I'm going to attempt to make chunky-ish apple sauce too.

I really like this movie so I'll be playing that while making a vat of tomato soup as part of our lunch and as The Weekend Soup for something warm to drink.
Never heard of "making tomato soup" in the kitchen?
I've always just opened up a can of Campbell's tomato soup & heat.
But you do you Drew ... I guess it makes you happy to slave over a stove.
