I still can't imagine a team promoting a position player to AAA or MLB in fewer than 10 games.
The next step up is the AAA Salt Lake Bees.
The 2b in Salt Lake is Keston Hiura who played at Irvine and has been in minors for 5th season. He was waived by Brewers after 2023 and signed with Detroit and assigned to Toledo and then was waived by Detroit.

I suspect Moore will get to AAA pretty quick but it is late in season and why put pressure on him? The Halo fans are clamoring for him thought. College pitchers are moved up in minors faster than field guys.

White Sox got "back on track" today losing a lead at Oakland

The math.

Chicago is ahead of schedule in beating the modern era MLB record for losses.
Their .239 season winning % would mean 123 losses. 3 more than the '62 Mets. They have only had 2 months (May & June) over .239 (both a .321) so I suspect they will get to 125 without some phenomenal play by some September call ups.

The modern era MLB record for worst winning percentage would have them #2 behind the 1916 Philadelphia Athletics at .235. The Sox would surpass this record with just 1 more loss (124). So I suspect that mark is easily on the table.

The modern era record for worst run differential will be harder to "fail" to. At the season long pace of -2.12 runs per game; The Sox would be 5th at -334 with the 1932 Red Sox at #1 with -345.
In the last 30 games the run differential is 3 per game. At that rate they would crush the record with -383.

It's clear the team has officially "mailed it in" a while back. It's got to the point that it will take an actual effort to avoid these records.
