Stolen bases in today’s game should have an asterisk, with the new time clock & throw over limit. IMO

I contribute the increase in stolen bases more to the increase in size of the bases themselves than I do the time clock and pickoff rules. Some people wanted to gloss over the increase in size but I knew as soon as I saw that news of them doing that, that stolen bases were about to skyrocket. A lot of guys would get thrown out on bang bang plays. Now, those same plays are heavily tilted in favor of the base runners.
