Hey Eric, I hate to break it to you but whenever you have Patrick freaking Mahomes as your QB the game of football is a lot easier to coach. Maybe you didn’t get that high profile job because you weren’t good enough? You had a chance to prove yourself at Washington and it was a complete failure. You were handed the keys to the offense to do as you pleased and by all accounts the players did not respect you at all, or else you would have scored more points and won more games. And let’s not forget you were the OC for Colorado from 2011-12 and your team won a grand total of 4 games those 2 seasons. So that means your teams have a combined 8 wins in 3 seasons whenever you are the OC of a team without Patrick Mahomes as your QB. Sometimes people need a big dose of reality before they realize maybe they weren’t cut out for the job.

Former Commanders offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is finalizing a two-year deal to join UCLA's staff as the Bruins' associate head coach/offensive coordinator, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel and Adam Schefter.
