I would definitely find a way to attend a playoff game in Houston!Just realized we’ll be in Houston early next week and could go to an Astros playoff game. Apparently tickets can be had for ~40. But the wife will probably put the kibosh on it since we’re visiting her family. Also, I hate the Astros…
Well, I’ll put it to you like this,How long is eventually?
Sleeping on the couch was no big deal to me... actually done things to get to sleep on couch..Well, I’ll put it to you like this,
I love my wife and my wife loves me, there’s no denying that. She is my best friend and I am hers.
But, sometimes I need a little space, so I intentionally do something that I know will pi$$ her off and I leak it, or leave it out in the open to be noticed. She gets mad and doesn’t talk to me, sometimes it’s a couple of hours, sometimes it’s a couple of days, but in the end, I get my “alone time.”
The question is, do I do something minor to gain myself a few hours or do I go all out and get myself a few days of peace?
It all depends on the level of my selfish need. An Astros playoff game, I’m sacrificing a few days, possibly up to a week.

I mean, what is she going to do, divorce you?
Like my dad always said...it’ll only hurt for a minute.
She’ll get over it...eventually.
You and your boys will have memories for a lifetime.
Oh Lord Cowboys vs 49ers trumps Astros game ... smart move...Well, if I'm being honest (and this could be ascertained by the (low) number of times I post about MLB), I'm just not much of a fan of MLB fan these days. I was a MLB/yankees junky when I was a kid, but then became disinterested in baseball for quite a while, and only migrated back due to the love the boys and I have for the BaseVols.
Now, an MLB playoff game is definitely interesting, not feeling like a must. If it were a higher priority, foot would be put down. She tried to tell me the boys and I couldn't go to the Florida football game last year because they had a piano recital and I was like HEEELLLL to the no. She even got my sister (hater of sports) to shame me about raising children in a boorish and uncultured environment, which I just laughed at.
Plus, I don't like the astros and the game is the same time as the Sunday night 49ers-cowboys game... But, I'll ponder it.
You started your explanation just the way this song starts. But you went in a different direction.Well, I’ll put it to you like this,

Don’t be hard on yourself, it’s not your fault. It’s a University Science Professor trait. My brother in law took my dad to a Redsox game at Fenway, he was miserable.Well, if I'm being honest (and this could be ascertained by the (low) number of times I post about MLB), I'm just not much of a fan of MLB fan these days.
