Opening Day rosters
Double-A: Andrew Abbott, Connor Phillips, Carson Spiers, Noelvi Marte
Low-A: Lyon Richardson
De La Cruz reminds me of Yasiel Puig with his emotions on the field... Both have cannons for arms , Cruz seems to have more speed, the power numbers about the same... Am I in the ballpark on comparison???

He has ruined his time with Dodgers even if he gets out of this charge they will not resign him... Remember they wouldn't touch Bauer and paid him so much of his contract to leave....

Honestly I've never heard him compared to Puig before! Your right on the arms, I think Elly is much faster than Yasiel, Elly has Billy Hamilton like speed! The power is a interesting comparision.....we really haven't seen the power from Elly like everyone expected yet....his problem is since the All Star break he has pretty much swung at EVERYTHING! Couple weeks ago Jeff Brantley who does the Reds radio said pitchers could bounce it up to the plate on 5 bounces and Elly would swing lol.....He's gotten much better the past few weeks at taking pitches and actually drawing walks. The potential is UNREAL but we'll see......the real stud in my opinion of this amazing rookie bunch is Matt McClain....he should have been this years ROTY of but the injury kills any chance of that....

Offensively, I think he will end up being like a prime Brandon Phillips with a little better power numbers. Right now his strikeout to walk ratio is horrendous (nearly 100 more strikeouts than walks) but that’s to be expected from a rookie. I could see him being a 30 homers, 30 doubles, 30 steals in a season type of guy on an annual basis.

Me and buddy was trying to figure out who his career will most resemble and maybe it's just the #44 but I see a lot of Eric Davis in him. I think he'll be a guy that hits 30-40 homers with at least 50 SB's a season but bat like .240 and be very high in K's

That's a great comparison ED was a free swinger..... His build though reminds me of Vlad Guerrero another free swinger....

Eric Davis is a great player comp.

I think this would be more fitting
