OldTimer’s Dugout - Off Topic Thread

Ooh yes for the Braves fans on MLB trade rumor mill, you guys are interested in acquiring Josh Hader from the Padres. Well I'm a Dodgers fan but if that happens it's a wrap just give them the trophy!!!!!
He is back to his old self so I will gladly take him. Braves have the third best bullpen ERA so he will take it to the next level.

@txbo I know that you are in the car business in or around the Baytown, TX area, does Clint Stoerner work for you. I know that Clint went to Robert E. Lee HS in Baytown and he did some advertising for one to area car dealerships. @Stoerner Fumbles screen name always reminds me of this.

Riley w/a 3 run 432 foot blast makes it 6-5 Braves. B 8th inning.

Next batter Olson, follows that up w/a solo shot to make it 7-5 Braves.

DBs bring up their 5 6 7 hitters in the T 9th inning.
Every single run was scored via home run. Might be a playoff preview down the road.

No, he does not. He is the spokesperson for Ron Craft Chevrolet. They are owned by Sonic Automotive.... a large publicly held dealer group. You may find it interesting that I worked for Sonic for many years. I was actually one of the people that designed both the Chevy and the Ford store.

Sonic? Love the Sausage Breakfast Toaster, but the Green Mountain Coffee is wretched. I'm probably off base here, just spoiled by those magnificent cigars.

You should pass those out to Tennessee fans in Tuscaloosa whenever we beat them again this season.
My older brother and I lite one up after the Bama game together. Get this.... before this past year, the last time we watched a Bama game together was exactly 40 years ago. 1982 when we broke the 11 year losing streak... from the stands. Pretty special.

Was that the game where Dale Jones had that impossible interception on Mike Shular?
