...but to answer your question @mad4vols, the "Big Lie" was that Ashley Rodgers was on a "Maintenance Plan" that was limiting her innings pitched until post-season. One game per week and nothing more. No bullpens. I called BS and said it was a cover-up for her being injured and that if she WASN'T hurt, she needed to be pitching since we had an SEC title on the line. The softball regulars have called me nasty names for weeks while @chuckiepoo quietly sat by and laughed. They assured @knoxvol52 and me that this was all pre-planned and nothing more. That didn't make logical sense because I saw her throw 180 pitches with my eyes in College Station, yet she only pitched two innings and no bullpen during the week for FL. That screamed injury (not maintenance plan). Fast forward to last night; guess who entered the game in the 6th inning ??? none other than Rodgers - proving this whole "maintenance plan" story was one big concoction...

That my friend, was the Big Lie. Nothing gets by us over here!

I will add, I have no doubt she is actually on a maintenance plan to manage health concerns. That's not a lie, but the whole "nothing to see here" the last few weeks was actually Karen and the team keeping possible injury on the DL (and I might add - as they should have. No need to plant the seed with NCAA that she's unhealthy as they would likely adjust our seeding as a result).

When Texas and Oklahoma join the conference. The SEC should have a one-time only schedule. Everyone plays everybody else.
15 weekends- 45 conference games.
That would still leave 12 midweek games.

Or still have 10 weekend series. But all the SEC must play 2 midweek game series against the other 5 teams for 40 conference games. Which would allow 17 non-conference games.
