OldTimer’s Dugout - Off Topic Thread

Why? I find that post was just everyday common knowledge to all.

It’s not currently common knowledge if Ridder is some reliable starting QB other than he has the ability to throw a NFL football which Tebow can’t do for long range in the needed areas, and still waiting to see if the Falcons build a solid offensive team around Ridder beyond acquiring a talented TE.

I see it’s three days in a row working as a dish washer crew member.
I move the dishes and other cooking items so that’s the easy job since I’m not having to rinse plates and other items before sending it though the dish washer machine.

Also emptying the trash cans which get replaced with other trash cans.

 That's the same kind of job I have here at my house .... without pay of course.

Not exactly my opinion because Tebow didn’t fix the criticized flaws when he was on the Patriots.
When he threw the football long distance it wasn’t in the right areas.

While Jake Locker has the repeated whole injury flaw it’s undeniable he looks like a NFL HOF QB because he repeatedly proved he can throw a NFL football long distance in the right areas, can throw a spiral in the NFL, and repeatedly played solid for most of a game while it took Tebow the 4th Quarter to finally start playing great.
Also he gave the Titans the best chance to win, and was a solid dual threat.

I assume you want to get payed for that task.

I’m guessing you are a parent.

Today I’ll be stating to the SA’s move please don’t leave the trash can in front of the door.
It’s an obstruction that has to get moved, and emptying the trash can isn’t a challenging task even though it involves the use of physical strength, also lifting.

If you watched the throws Tebow made while he was with the Patriots he wasn’t able to succeed with long distance throws despite having the arm strength to throw long distance in the NFL level.

That’s why the whole inane he’s not given a chance as a NFL QB is very inane.
He is a godly man worthy of emulation for that reason.
As a NFL QB he repeatedly showed he didn’t have the ability to fix that whole throwing a Football long distance in the right area.

Tebow is better than Locker because of the whole got his team to the Playoffs, has a playoff win which are achievements Locker never achieved in his playing career with the Titans.
So in that exact category Tebow has Locker beat easily.

We should just take your word on it as being fact & God's honest truth?

Here is a recap of why he failed to be successful as an NFL QB.

Enter Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots. It was believed around football circles that if anyone could make Tebow into a strong quarterback, it was Belichick.

The Patriots allowed him to play the position to see if he really was NFL material. To make a long story short, he failed to impress the team in training camp and was released before the season opener. Although he put up decent stats, they were below the standard for an NFL quarterback, so he was let go.

This is from the article.

So while he wasn't abysmal because he had an advantage of decent stats while he was on the Patriots, however, those decent stats were below-the-standard for an NFL QB is a flaw that can't be overlooked.

What does all the above have to do with your original post # way back in 32,522?
That's the one I said "well, duh" that offended you so. I don't need for you to re-post a newspaper column to get your point across. Links to your opinion is fine & all I ask for in verification of what you perceive to be facts.

It would be nice, my sister and her family are down here for spring break so I can’t.

As fate would have it, we're actually previously scheduled to drive to Orlando that day to head out on a cruise the following day. We will be in town for the game, but my wife would murder me, so we'll be watching it at the hotel.

If it were a second round game against Dook, I'd put my foot down. It has occurred to me that if Dook and the Vols win, I could ship the 3 of them off (literally), hang out in Orlando, and go to the game.
