Total guess: Ole Miss was home. La Tech scored their runs in the top of the seventh, but bad weather came and ended game early before Ole Miss got to finish the bottom of the seventh, so score reverted to last full inning played. La Tech’s seventh inning runs came off the board, Ole Miss won. 🤷 Someone with a clue feel free to correct.

Alabama completes the comeback and removes Auburn from the tiebreaker scenarios for us. LSU is beating Missouri right now 47-34 at halftime. If LSU holds on then Tennessee clinches a first round bye in the SECT. If Tennessee wins next week and Kentucky loses then Tennessee is the 3 seed regardless of tonight’s outcomes.

MLB games are a lot easier to reschedule than these midweek OOC games. Also, if an inning in MLB has started then it has to be finished either in that series or at a later date. Professional sports have a lot more flexibility in their scheduling compared to college because they don’t have to worry about the kids going to school.

An interesting baseball fact is the Washington Huskies baseball team have been in the College World Series once.

2018
They defeated the Cal State Fullerton Titans in the Super Regionals game 3 which was in California to advance to the 2018 College World Series.
A high bar accomplishment because usually the CSF Titans are a stacked talented team that has a realistic chance of advancing to the College World Series.

Currently relaxing at the Old Chicago bar.
It’s an entertaining embarrassment because the Blue Jays are bulldozing the Hoyas 92-59 in Creighton tonight.
A men’s college basketball game that proved to be a huge mismatch in Omaha tonight.

Doomsday potential 4 team tiebreakers if all finish at 11-7 (record amongst teams in parentheses):

3 seed: Missouri (3-0)
4 seed: Kentucky (3-2)
5 seed: Vanderbilt (2-3)
6 seed: Tennessee (1-4)

Tennessee would end up playing the winner of 11 vs 14 which would be Georgia vs LSU in this scenario. If we win that then we would get Missouri in the quarters and then potentially Texas A&M in the semis. Honestly not a bad path to the SEC Championship Game if it works out that way.

Alabama is having a terrific season in Men’s Basketball so most likely they’ll get a lot of bandwagon fans this year.

A terrific win for the Commodores in Kentucky because they upset a playing pretty good Wildcats team.
Again the Commodores strike gold Vs a talented good team in Kentucky because the Commodores football team had a feel great comeback win vs a good Wildcats team in the Blue Grass State.

That was tough to watch. They scored 47 points in the 1st half then proceed to give up the exact same amount in the 2nd half. Hopefully our boys win at Auburn and don’t leave anything up to chance. Going to be a tough one to win with it being their Senior Day.
