It was certainly discussed during the beat down at Dudy Noble last year, 27-2.
I googled a bit and saw no official release. I could see it for tournaments or travel days but if agreed upon by the coaches at both schools, that has been the rule for a minute. Need a confirming link from sec or D1baseball before biting. Richard G West isn’t the only hawt take troll out there…

The SEC will also implement a 10-run rule for conference games. The policy stipulates that a contest shall be stopped after seven innings if one team is ahead by at least 10 runs, in accordance with NCAA playing rules. The 10-run rule shall also be utilized for all non-conference competition with the consent of the coach of the non-conference opponent. If the coach of the non-conference opponent does not consent, the game shall be played in its entirety consistent with NCAA playing rules.

There's actually some parallels between this year's eagles and that falcons team. Both were led by second year head coaches with comparable records (Dan Quinn: 8-8 year 1, 11-5 year 2; Nick Sirianni: 9-8 year 1, 14-3 year 2). Both blew significant leads (10 points for eagles, 25 points (gulp) for falcons) to lose close super bowl games. Both lost their offensive coordinators immediately after the super bowl (Kyle Shanahan -> 49ers, Shane Steichen -> Colts).

Just score 27 within the first 7 innings and problem solved. I do think we’re going to score a bunch of runs. Beck had a good year, but I think even he would tell you he never hit his stride like he would have liked. There’s some off-the-charts potential offensively this year.

Yep I think some may be underestimating how much stolen base numbers are about to increase. I expect offensive numbers to go through the roof with the combination of all these new rules.
