Williams took over a 4-8 USC team and took them to the conference championship. That’s pretty impressive by itself. I could argue that USC doesn’t win as many games with Duggan as their QB. I agree on Stroud though. He is probably just a beneficiary of playing for one of the most talented rosters in the country, along with playing in that conference. But it’s hard to play the “what if” game when comparing these QBs since they play in different conferences. You have to look at what their production is, and Duggan’s production doesn’t compare to the other top Power 5 QBs.
