The Mets have me worried. They have to make a splash to keep up with the Braves and Phillies.
And that rotation down in Miami, ain’t no joke either.
@VolPack22 the Braves and Phillies, may have a field day with the Mets rotation next season.

You gave Diaz all that money, well, now you gotta make sure you can even get to Diaz! He’s not going to do a lot of good, if you’re going in to the majority of your late innings, down a couple of runs.

That one really hurt right before the half. Steep hill to climb for the USMNT.

On another note, Mr. Soccer (@cobbwebb0710 ) throwing out his futbol knowledge in the official FIFA WC thread is impressive.

I do love soccer and enjoy watching it, but admit that I don’t know much about the players and teams.

It’s hard to get into it unless you have a team to support in club soccer. And it’s even harder to find a connection with a particular team, you can’t force it. But if and when it happens, it’s wonderful. I enjoy watching my team in the Premier League much more than my National team in the World Cup.

I always try to watch the PL, when I can, early Saturday mornings.
The game itself is awesome!

If Verlander and Scherzer couldn’t win a World Series with Miggy in Detroit, what makes people think they will win in NY? You know one or both of them will be injured for a portion of the season anyways. The Braves will be good for the next 10 years. The Phillies will always try to be competitive. The Marlins are due to jump up and win a random World Series. The Nationals seem content on being the worst team in baseball 🤣
