Dodgers non-tender Bellinger, now a free agent

Has there ever been a quicker fall from grace for an MVP? The guy went from winning ROY and MVP within a 3 year period to becoming a worse player than Marcell Ozuna.
Had to make sure this Ozuna character wasn’t a Tiger, was about to open up a can of whoop@ss up in here.
Anyways, it’s all good.
Carry on Volpack.

Saw a really good breakdown on his struggles at the plate, on MLB tonight.
He has struggled but his defense is still pretty solid.
Unfortunately, if you can’t hit in this league nowadays you get cut. I’m surprised the Dodgers stuck with him these past three years. I know he was designated for assignment at least once or twice.

Nope he’s a sorry, abusive drunk that the Braves employ.
Yeah, I think it tends to give the organization a bad look. The Cardinals were willing to not chance him after 2 years. They had learned their lesson. As a side note, the Redbirds trade for Ozuna cost St. Louis Sandy Alcantara. I know getting rid of a player like that is a little tricky, but I suspect he will be long gone by July.

The Cardinals could’ve been legit contenders with an arm like Sandy’s. In fairness, Ozuna was coming off a 37HR and 124RBI season so I can’t really fault them for making that trade. I’m convinced the Braves signed him because of that 2019 NLDS he had against us. He destroyed us that series and I’m willing to bet the front office thought they were going to get that Ozuna. He did have a great year during that 2020 Covid season but other than that he has been atrocious for us.
