Don’t they let you bring your own cooler at those tracks? I feel like someone told me that before.

I haven't been to Talladega, but I've been to Bristol, Martinsville, Nashville, and Atlanta and all of them let you bring in your own cooler. Any night race (like a night football game) can get rowdy.

IMO, it would be different, and in a bad way. I'm guessing BYOB increases the likelihood of bad behavior. I never took one of our kids when they were young to the Bristol night race. Personally, I'm there for the event and I want to remember it. And it's got to be a big pain in the tail to drag around a cooler loaded up with drinks and ice. I've been to F1, endurance and other races where no coolers are allowed and, IIRC, no coolers at Indy Car races but it's been awhile since I've been to Indy Car.
