SECURITY!!!Warning ...... Warning ...... Picture of Lane Kiffin In-coming ------>
Matt Corral says he has regrets about attending Ole Miss, Lane Kiffin responds: ‘Not what he meant by it’
I knew they weren’t going to do anything because their starting pitching has never been good. They invested all their money into position players. You remember Anthony Rendon? What is he doing now? He’s collecting $245M to be injured all the time. They never went out and got an elite pitcher other than Ohtani. You can’t win with one great starter. You have to have an entire staff to be a contender.Me too. I really hate that they have 2 of the better players in the game but no one ever gets to watch them play except @VolPack22 , because they play at 11:00 at night, most games.
And God Forbid the MLBN show us an 11:00 west coast game when they can replay their version of baseball sports center for the 15th straight time!
He has been great for two years now. I’m happy for him. He doesn’t switch hit and lacks the plate discipline. Other than that he is finally a worthy 3B replacement for Chipper Jones.We may be watching the making of a star!
Riley has played very well this year and the thing is, he continues to improve his numbers and in his play.
I think giving up those prospects for two World Series titles would be worth it.The trouble with going after Ohtani is that after next year he'll be a free agent. He's only making 5.5 mil now, and will make more in arbitration next year, but you're gonna lose him to the highest bidder after that. If you give 5 prospects, that is a huge price to pay for a 1.5 season rental. Only way it makes sense is if Ohtani is the missing piece to a deep playoff run for some team this year and next. Who will that be?
Yeah Trout has been injury prone the past couple of years. He says he can do things to manage this latest injury but I don’t think he will be the same Mike Trout we are accustomed to seeing.I would like to see Trout and Ohtani get away from that organization. But I have to wonder about Trouts health going forward.

He’s young, the plate discipline will come.Austin's weakness (kryptonite) is still swinging at that low outside pitch off the plate.
His last at bat last night ... he did that by striking out. It makes him look ridiculous. You'd think he has learned his lesson by now NOT to do that.
