The only thing I know about the D. Tigers is when they made a trade w/Atlanta w/Smoltz coming to the Braves.
They also swindled the Marlins out of Miguel Cabrera. Worst trade of all time in my book. Thank you Detroit for making us deal with him for only 5 years instead of 20 😁

Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis for

Burke Badenhop, Frankie De La Cruz, Cameron Maybin, Andrew Miller, Mike Rabelo, and lifelong minor leaguer Dallas Trahern

Grew up watching cubs games after school on wgn...then we got braves games on tbs..then my uncle got me into Yankees in late late 80s and he taught me alot..braves fan secretly but Yankees fan in heart...he would be excited this yr like me...
That’s funny, I’m the same. The Braves have my heart(lots of childhood memories with my papaw and the Bravos) but I’m a Mets fan too. I loved Strawberry and Gooden when I was young. Dale Murphy is my all time favorite player though.

I do remember Cameron Maybin ... he was w/Atlanta long enough for a cup of coffee.
I was sad the day they traded him off to the Padres or something.

Everybody loved Dale Murphy & still does. He carried the Braves in the early 80s.
Does anybody remember Bob Horner? Came right out of college to play 3rd base.
If I remember right ... Horner hit 4 home runs in a game once or twice in his career.

Another fave of mine, that doesn’t get a lot of love.
I liked Rafael Ramirez too.

I understand some of you like the human aspect of the game but this is 21 minutes of strikes that were called balls from the 2021 season. Several times the batter starts walking to the dugout thinking they were struck out. That’s when you know it’s bad. This is the reason the automated strike zone will be in the majors within a few years.
