That’s a nice list.
My wife went to Fenway with her family back when we were dating and did it to spite me. They’re not baseball people but were going to Boston for vacation and I told them it’s a bucket list line for me to see a game in Fenway and they asked why because again they knew very little about baseball or the history of Fenway. A few nights later I get a text from her that says guess where we are? I said don’t bother talking to me the rest of the trip if you’re in Fenway; about that time a picture comes through on text of them all there in RCF. She reminds me to this day anytime Boston/Fenway gets mentioned knowing it just pisses me off.

That's pretty rough. You should go! Not sure if they still do it, but got to do a tour once where they took you behind the green monster scoreboard and let you place a number on it.

Joey Votto now has a .299 career batting average because of this season. I hope he’s able to finish his career at the .300 mark. Currently has a career slash line of .299/.414/.517. One of the better players of this era imo and hasn’t gotten the respect he deserves over time because he has been on a lot of losing teams.

He nailed down that acting role/character. It's a shame he's dead.
That is the gold standard for super hero villians. I’m more of a Marvel guy but I was glued to the screen from start to finish whenever I watched The Dark Knight because of his acting. Very sad he’s not with us any longer.

But the pitcher didn't ask for time. He just assumed that he doesn't have to ask for time while he does something other than baseball when the ball is live in his hand? Is that called Yankee priviledge?

I am a fan of a team that came one strike away from winning the World Series but still has not won one. I was just analyzing what I saw regardless of team.

I've never understood how they get into & stay in character. Jim Carrey did a movie w/Jerry Lawler called Man On the Moon. Carrey portrayed Andy Kaufman. Man on the Moon (1999) - IMDb. Andy stayed in character all day & night as Kaufman. Did not break that character until filming stopped. Lawler said at the time, Carrey was difficult but amazing to work with. For those that have never seen the movie .... do so because it's great.
