I just realized there’s a chance Arkansas-Little Rock might win the CWS before the Razorbacks.

Goodness.

It’s hard to comprehend that Arkansas, NC, and FL State have never won a CWS. I truly think it’s the hardest sport to win a national championship….

It was really bad luck that Vol Softball didn’t get to play Texas Tech again, eliminate them, and go to the finals.

Alabama gets the lucky route (as usual), but loses twice to the Texas Tech team we had just beaten and would have beaten again.

Texas Tech was luckiest of all and got to dodge Tennessee and go through Alabama (the easiest route) instead of playing the Lady Vols, who had just beaten Texas Tech head to head. And the LVs would have beaten them again, given the chance.

My softball take. It should be everyone’s.

I was caught off guard when they showed that Texas Tech switched brackets after their loss to Tennessee. I assumed it was the same format as the baseball CWS. But I typically quit watching once the Lady Vols are done.
