Poor Poor little Vanderbilt. They got trucked pretty hard by the big boys this year.
Vandy lost to Alabama 55-3
Vandy lost to Georgia 55-0
Vandy lost to The Vols 56-0
That's a 166-3 margin against the best teams on their schedule this year.
The Vols scored 8 TDs 5 of them of at least 50 yards. Vanderbilt didn't score in 44 minutes plus they had 24 more offensive plays to run. Vanderbilt averaged 3.3 yards a play. The Vols averaged 9.7 yards on Saturday with a cold rain soaked field. Vanderbilt was playing for a bowl trip to somewhere but these aren't the Vols of Dooley, Butch Jones or Jeremy Pruitt.
