One last thing about this Tony Vitello and Elander comparison some are trying to pull. Only difference was besides being HC Tony Vitello was the Head Cheerleader. Elander takes more of a business approach to the game... Which one you think played a little Minor League baseball?

Elander's approach is just fine. Let the players do the cheerleaders role.

Elander is going to be fine.
He just needs to find himself a Frank Anderson, imo.

I would love to see JP Arencibia somewhere on this staff.
I think he’s an up and coming star in the coaching ranks.

But I’m by no means picking apart Coach E and his staff, after only 8 games
I just am and always have been a big Arencibia fan.
Lawd, I sound like the guys screaming for Al Wilson to be our D-coordinator…

People fail to realize these players are still learing to be a team. With the NIL additions, it’s a new club every year.
They have started slow almost every year. Not many championship teams have repeated in baseball. This team has the structure to be special.

I think that Josh Reynolds approach to pitching is bust the opposing batters inside. That's why we're seeing so many hit batters. That approach works great for pitchers that have control of their pitches, I believe asking 19 and 20 year old pitchers to do that continuously is asking a lot... Hell there's MLB pitchers that can't do that..

It’s going to take some time for him to get a feel for SEC bats, settle into a groove and learn to call a game.
He’s young but he’s been around the block a few times.
Hopefully he focuses more on a pitchers strengths, rather than trying to get something out of them that they don’t necessarily have in them.

Giants beat Dodgers 4th string players, Yamamoto did start and gave up 2 runs in 3 innings but after that it was Double A bound pitchers on the bump...

I was that way at one time.
If Tennessee lost, it would ruin my whole day, sometimes even my whole week!
Then I realized there are many things more important than my favorite team’s wins and losses.
I love Tennessee sports, I just see it as entertainment now and not life or death and it’s much more fun and enjoyable.
My family has always been fans of the women’s sports

I was exactly the same in my younger years. Now, it’s just well ok they lost. On to the next one

Gotta move Clark down in the lineup until he gets that upper cut swing fixed.

He hit a ball yesterday that would have been out of any college field . He also hit another laser line drive that was caught. He’s just got to learn not to chase out or the strike zone.

Correct and what's so irritating is that some of the bandwagon fans have the football mentality.. they need to realize it's a marathon not a 100 yard dash...
