And yet Kyle Tucker is making more than him. What a joke. I really wish contracts weren’t so much on their base salary and had higher emphasis on incentives based on your stats. You should never be paid for “future” performance because nobody knows what the future holds. If you play well then you get paid well. If you play like then you get paid like

Baseball facilities update from VQ:

Work continues at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. There was a big concrete pour on Wednesday on the back side of the stands down the third base line. The brick work is wrapping up on the final section of the third base side. Seats in the premium areas still have to be installed and the suites still have to be completed. The weather obviously isn’t helping with next week being the coldest week of the year. There is still lots to get done as they work around the weather over the next three weeks. Even after the season starts, there will be things still to be completed but the belief is that everything for the fans will be completed by first pitch.

At Neyland Stadium,

there continues to be ground prep work around gate 9 and gate 10 to redo that plaza area.

I can probably deal with all of the snow but not the ice part, I'm afraid of the amount of ice accumulation coming with this storm. A 0.5 to 0.75 is a nightmare for southern states.
