Harpers Ferry is where West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland all come together. At the very least, the artwork is inspired by the area, if it’s not an actual view.

After grad school we moved to Chicago. Our first winter was their coldest on record. Temps and wind are going to show us who has the most Want-To. Still have my old Tennessee puffy jacket.

I lived in Wyoming for 8 years. 30 below is cold.

I’ve been to Chicago a few times in the winter, that wind is brutal.

Yep. Graduated grad school in June 81. We had a golden retriever. So cold that her pads would melt the snow and it would turn right back into ice so she could hardly walk in it. Had to carry that 65# girl in and out. -30 wind chill is COLD. We couldn't keep the townhouse warm. Left for work - wife was in bed. Get home - she was dressed but back under the covers. Gonna be fun to watch.
