Pretty sure Heupel has been using the portal fine. The only year we haven’t started a transfer QB was 2024 and we made the CFP with below average QB play. People will always try to spin something to fit their narrative. What needs to happen is build an elite defense because that’s what still wins championships at the end of the day.

For me, it's not the quality but quantity. Okay, I'd like some studs out of the portal, too. So sue me.

Hooker was a stud. Evans was a stud RB, just injured and not a team guy, Brazzell was a stud, Thornton was a stud, McCoy was a stud, Hood was a stud. Once again, people bitching just to bitch. People need to find something else to complain about and move along with this nonsense. Sue me.

The guy caught 39 passes in 2 seasons. I will say he was a big play receiver but 39 catches in 2 seasons doesn't make him a Stud... Plus the Stud you're bragging about went to NFL and started trashing our route running .....

Hooker wasn't a portal guy. Thought Heupel inherited him from Pruitt? Milton was his portal masterpiece, no? And as for the basis of the lawsuit,.I agree he had some studs, but I want more. So now can we settle out of court or are we to line the pockets of the legal eagles like NightNightVol?

Doesn’t matter if he was inherited, Hooker TRANSFERRED to Tennessee. So he was 100% a portal guy. Get pissed all you want but he was from the portal.
