Dakota Prescott has no guaranteed money due after 2026 season plus Cowboys will have no negative dead cap space after 2026 if they release him. Maybe, just, just maybe Jerry and Stephen package a couple of those 1st round draft picks and move up in draft and get a QB of the future.


Say for instance an Arch Manning .

I honestly think that is what they are angling for. If the number 1 pick isn’t a QB-needy team they will 100% use those 4 picks to trade up and get him. If he decides to stay at Texas for 1 more season then they will use those picks to get another impact player like say a Justin Jefferson.
