MLB's Rob Manfred teases realignment with expansion, baseball fans torch idea

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred opened up about geographical realignment during the Seattle Mariners and New York Mets' game on Sunday night.

If you’re going to do this, you have to put a hard salary cap in place, no more luxury tax BS.
You have too many teams NOT willing to spend, in the same division.
The Giants would run away with their division every damn year.
The eastern division is ridiculous, Yankees, Mets, Phillies and Red Sox...
The majority of the money spent in MLB would be in this one 4 team division.
You can’t have that many big market teams in one division.

Orioles, Pirates, Nationals and an expansion team means 2 of those 💩 teams are in the playoffs every year.
But as the article states in a round about way, ESPN calls the shots in the sports world.
Let’s hear it for your western conference champion, Los Angeles Dodgers!!!
And now taking the field, your eastern conference champion, Atlanta Braves...
Yeah, no thanks!
I’m kinda partial to my National and American League.

This is stupid stuff, nobody wants 4 four team divisions in each League. This is a prime example is if Manfred can't get his beloved Salary Cap passed he will assure a small market team of getting to LCS in each League

I have zero sympathy for a bazillionaire, who owns a Major League Baseball team and refuses to spend money to win.
