I remember spending a weekend out in the country in Kingston Tennessee with a couple of my elementary school mates in the 70’s. They were crazy, shooting and blowing up all kinds of things. I enjoyed watching from inside the safety of the mom’s station wagon.

As a teenager, I used to really get a kick out of throwing cherry bombs in water.
I loved watching the wter explode up high like.

I remember tossing one in the air and a police officer just so happened to be driving by the house and of course the bottle rocket had a mind of its own and went straight across the hood of the car. I was lucky he was a cool guy and also lucky his window wasn’t rolled down
