Clearly Shohei did this in purpose and he’s a prick

Did Shohei stand and stare at his home run, and shout with excitement as he rounded 1st.
How dare he show emotion. This is baseball dang it. Only golf claps are allowed. As the face of the MLB he should know better. I’m sure Chipper will be sending a scathing X at any moment.
🥴

And we will have “fans” on here acting like some baby back biatches because they don’t agree with his opinion.

How dare you slander Shohei! He’s my childhood hero and I won’t stand for it!

Nothing wrong with celebrating a Game winning homeruns or a game winning hit. If the pitcher strikes out a batter with a one run lead or game tied nothing wrong with emotions then.

Celebrating every little single or a strikeout of first batter of game is a little extreme. Homerun trots aren't meant to be dancing like a character from GLEE prancing around the bases...

On This Day In Baseball History:

Chipper Jones posts on X.com and Tennessee fans assume the world revolves around them. Tennessee Coach Tony Vitello feels obligated to call Chipper and apologize for his fans actions towards the HOF player. Chipper responds with a picture of his World Series champion ring, HOF plaque, MVP trophy, and Silver Slugger Awards in the background as he flips off Tennessee fans with both hands while also donning the biggest smile recorded in history.

Have to round the bases anyways so might as well have some fun with it.
