The game of basketball has so many 10-2 and 14-4 and so on runs during the game that the +/- stat is overblown.

If Micheal Porter Jr. Comes into the game and Nuggets are down by 6 and then checks out 6 minutes later Nuggets up 6 that give Porter Rating of +12 . Porter didn't do it himself .

Especially if the real difference maker, ie someone scoring on six straight possessions playing smothering defense, checks in the same time he does and spends the same 6 minutes on the floor.

Europeans don’t get married much anymore. So you won’t see a ring every time. His actions said, I’m married.
They just agree to be together. The cost of a divorce is too great.

Honestly, I would resent her ruining my next night's sleep--and I'd tell her that! (I've done it before.)
So a good passive/aggressive response would be: "Oh, my! Hot flashes? Yeah, I kinda figured you were about that age."
