Did wire harnesses and rear door inserts one year. Very interesting work environment (factory wide) but couldn't imagine doing it for 20 years--unless I was raising children.

My Wife and I did not like it much. Weather is unbearable, Houston is in a swamp so mosquitoes everywhere, floods, hurricanes, flat, not scenic at all, the bay is muddy all the time, etc.
We lived in an area that was mostly locals. Making friends was very difficult because we were outsiders.
I don’t miss much about the place. There is some good food, but there are a lot of foods I grew up with in East Tennessee that you can’t find.
