A YUGE nothing burger.

His teammates liked him (obviously from the reactions). OF COURSE they are going to be supportive.

This situation wasn't 100% Nico, it was obviously his POS father.
Nico is a father himself. He isn’t a kid. Needs to start making decisions for himself. If I were his teammate (ex teammate) I wouldn’t trust him leading my team. If you can’t make your own decisions off the field then you sure as hell can’t be trusted to make the right decisions on the field. There is a reason he was the worst QB statistically that Heupel has had. No conviction, no guts, no leadership. Dylan Sampson was the leader on that team last year.

I know he’s not a kid. He’s 20 (will he 21 be in a few months). At some point, he needs to be his own man

Thanks for the tips. The middle part sounds like exactly what I did, 81/77/74/40. I might take 40 all the way back, will have to think about it. I used to take that route all the time through the gorge since my grandparents lived in Franklin.

My seminar tomorrow is in the School of Pharmacy and open (Kerr hall room 2001, 12:20-1:20). Feel free to invite away! Hopefully cobbwebb doesn’t drive over tonight and harass me.

Our work involves bioorganic organic chemistry, in which we synthesize molecules that compose nanocarriers for biomedical applications. I’ve included a blurb below.

I remember you in Good Will Hunting. Youβ€˜re wicked smart.

You can take 40 if you want; it is open now. It is also interesting to see how the river gorge has changed after the storms.

However, the route through 40 was never much shorter from CH than going through Wytheville on 81. One route takes you N then S, the other S then N.

If you aren't interested in going 35 through the mountains, and can deal with all the semis on 81, especially near 77 in Va, go up 81 to 77S, then just into NC near Mt. Airy, take US52/future 74 to Winston-Salem/Greensboro, then on to CH. About 5 1/2 hours as long as there are no wrecks on 77 coming down Fancy Gap (the most perilous part of the trip.)

Who are you giving a talk to? Is it an open talk? My eldest, a freshman at UNC, is kind of a science geek (neuroscience interest.) If it is an open talk, he *might* have an interest in hearing what you have to say.

Regardless of how much I hated my time there (and I hated it a lot), it is a pretty campus. Stay out of the bell tower.
while living not far from Chapel Hill, and in walking distance of Wallace Wade Stadium, we always took the 40 route back and forth from Kville. Too many of the those were pn the winter and were quite harrowing, but I never gave any thought to finding a better way, probably because I always drove through the mountains while in col.ege.

Any word on Tanner Wiggins? All I saw was Tony said he got hit in the mouth and it involved some teeth.

I wish I could link you sources, but I read as much as I could about it and came up with the following: Multiple teeth were broken, there was a fair amount of blood in the dugout and that he will need multiple reconstructive surgeries. His lip was split in more than one place and that might be the reason for needing more that one reconstructive surgery.

Tony can't say all he knows because of HIPPA rules.

Tennessee baseball's Tanner Wiggins underwent surgery around midnight Saturday to repair a fracture in his jaw.

I would view the above with skepticism because I can't remember where I read/heard it. However, they seemed credible at the time.
I wish we knew more.
I've thought of Tanner a couple off times a day for some reason and hope he is doing well.
