Not sure that would have even helped. Once those one/two seed lines are set Saturday they rarely change with the exception of moving a “blue blood” up.

I don’t think we really had a shot of getting the 1 seeds other than the other top 4 seeds losing in the quarterfinals and us winning the SECT. I just think had we blown Florida out that would have at least made a discussion. Still don’t think it would have mattered though.

Everyone knows they were gifted a spot due to being a blue blood. Out of 111 brackets on Bracket Matrix, West Virginia was in 111 of those brackets. Take a wild guess at how many North Carolina was in?

I would rather have a Boise State or George Mason over any average P4 team. Doesn't matter though SDSU will beat UNC in first four game..

I agree. Any other option other than UNC would have been a better pick. I hope they get run out of the gym.

I mean, I’m not gonna live in fear or anything, but Zeigler and Mashack’s careers ending with a 3rd loss to UK in the tourney can’t happen, it wouldn’t be right.
