This seems pretty crazy to me, they're going after everyone!

The estate of late NFL quarterback Dwayne Haskins has reached a "combined settlement" with the driver, the owner and the broker of the dump truck that struck and killed Haskins, according to a lawyer representing Haskins' widow. No specifics of the settlement have been disclosed.

Haskins was killed April 9, 2022, while he was walking on a South Florida highway. He was 24.

The lawsuit was filed in March and alleged that the driver of the dump truck was speeding, driving carelessly and had a cargo load exceeding the legal weight limit, while also naming the individual owner of the 1994 Kenworth truck and the driver's trucking company. The lawsuit also alleged negligence by the Florida Department of Transportation, the rental car company and the contractor that provides signage along Interstate 595....

The lawsuit also alleged that Dwayne Haskins was the target of a "blackmail and robbery conspiracy" and that he was drugged on the night of his death. That suit lists four individuals, two restaurants, a golf driving range and a hotel as defendants connected to the alleged conspiracy.

A toxicology report concluded Haskins was legally drunk when he was hit by the truck on I-595. Separate samples taken from his body had blood alcohol levels of .20 and .24, both of which are above the legal limit in Florida of .08.

Dayum!

Now that the Braves are out from under Liberty Media we might have a chance 🤷‍♂️
Would you really cash strap your organization for Ohtani? I understand the two for one value, but if he goes down due to injury, that’s a two fer too!
One other downside…what’s the size of Atlanta’s Japanese Community?

Braves always do a good job of trading players whenever they become too expensive so they are never strapped. Idk the Japanese community in ATL but I know everyone cares about winning 🤷‍♂️

No way! The Braves are just fine and will be for the foreseeable future, plus they just loaded up on arms that they can develop and keep or use as bargaining chips down the road.
Now the Mets on the other hand...
Drew Gilbert batting 3rd, in front of Ohtani, gets me excited!!😎

And the cowboys will be seeing him in division. But, if it makes you feel better, there was a lot of speculation of Micah Parsons to the falcons, but they didn’t take him, which worked out for your boys.

Former UT RB Eric Gray is on the Giants team too. He & Hyatt should have common ground.

Paul Skenes is dating Livvy Dunne. All that success, first pick in the draft, now this. Life has been very kind to Mr. Skenes.

Or he sold his soul to the devil.

Cowboys will be just fine I take preseason results as a grain of salt, first team defense sitting games out. I hope Jailin Hyatt does really great this year in 15 out of 17 games the two vs Dallas Trevon Diggs vs Jailin Hyatt will be terrific to watch.....
