Michael Harris was committed to play at Texas Tech but got drafted by the Braves in the 3rd round in 2019. He didn’t get to play in the minors in 2020 because of Covid but got invited to spring training in 2021. He played well enough to make the All-Star Futures Game that year. He seems to be one of those players that developed quickly because he only turned 21 in March.

Yeah, I live in Madison now and I was surprised they went with the Rocket City moniker since it is “Madison’s team, not Huntsville’s.” As for the geography, not sure where the lines are near the stadium. Madison is essentially an island within Hsv since Hsv has annexed everything around Madison.

Regarding your userID, is that Athens, AL, or Athens, TN? I ask because I grew up in Athens, TN.

Thanks for the info... I was thinking I read where he'd played for an SEC team at college.

1986 was the year my fraternal twin boys were born too.
