That's why it's called March Madness. The nobodies, even little colleges, have the same chance just as the big schools do to play & to win it all.

The Red Sox/Rays series was incredible.

I'd like to agree here ... but, I don't know what your're saying. It can't be better than when The Braves/Dodgers played each other back in the 80s & 90s during title runs.
I have always leaned toward & cheered for the NL teams rather then that other league.

The ALCS he is referring to went 7 games in 2008. Rays actually were up in that series and nearly choked it away. Ended up beating Jon Lester in Game 7.

I remember the crazy thing about that 2008 Rays team was the first 10 years of their existence, every single one ended with at least 90 losses and they all the sudden become nearly a 100-win team. That was one of the most shocking seasons I have ever witnessed for a baseball team. They now have almost as many 90-win seasons as they do 90-loss seasons. Pretty remarkable turnaround for that franchise.

As much as it pains me to say, several might pick the 1991 World Series was the best series in modern MLB playoff history. 5 of the 7 games were decided by 1 run.
