I'm glad the Vols game is finally over. I was getting tired of finger nail biting.

Mathews had 118 yards receiving, I suppose he doesn't count.

Also dropped a wide open TD that could have pushed him well over 150. Was also very hesitant on that last screen pass on the sideline he caught. If he just catches it and runs he probably gains another 10-15 yards. He has all the talent in the world but he loses focus.

We also had several receiver drops, one that turned into an interception, another muffed punt, and a dropped TD pass, a missed FG, a receiver missed a block in the red zone that would have scored on a swing pass. You factor all that in and we likely win by three scores with the bogus PI call. People want to complain about the clock management but it’s the routine plays throughout the game that really caused this to go to OT. We outplayed them and the better team won fortunately but it’s the little things that add up and causes you to lose.

It's hard to read the football section of the forum sometimes. Even after a win got countless people acting like the world just ended because of a play here or there.

I love sports too but the places losses or even just bad plays in wins push certain people to is insane. Makes me wonder what they're like in life when something goes bad in something that actually has significance in their life.

Our defense is a problem, and not the good kind of problem. 200 yards rushing in back to back conference games. Receivers and put returners with the yips. If they thought Starkville was crazy just wait until we play the teams that really don’t like us on the road. These paid athletes need to stop pissing their pants and make the routine plays. Aguilar and Brazzell were about the only offensive players that showed up. The DL, Carter, and Hood show up on defense but the rest are completely clueless. You need all 22 fighting like there is no tomorrow. Can’t have only half the team playing like that and expect them to pick up the slack. Kudos to Aguilar for having that dog in him. If we had Nico we would probably be 2-3 with this defense.

Mike Matthews had himself a pretty nice game.

I hope he is. I want the UGA to be close like GT and Tenn were. I am going to miss some of the game because I want to get my girlfriend from Emory at 10pm. She was doing clinical rounds today and then make her a late dinner here.

Cleveland clinches a postseason berth with a win OR a Houston loss. They are locked in a tie with the Rangers and Houston has yet to play. Tigers are hoping for a Rangers victory so they can control their own destiny for the division. Ironically the Tigers and Cleveland will be matched up with each other in the first round if they both make it in.

Reds are beating the Brewers. Win or lose the NL WC will go down to Game 162. Reds will clinch with a win OR Mets loss tomorrow. Mets have to win and hope for a Reds loss. Either way, your reward will be the most talented roster in the majors so good luck
