Hopefully Bruce Pearl enjoys his retirement. He has earned it. He brought our program and Auburn’s to new heights for which neither of us had ever seen. I remember whenever he took over Auburn and I thought they would be a good program but nothing like what he did at Tennessee. He did even better there than he did for us. And he got us pretty high up the ladder. I wish he had not lied about the recruiting violations and I’m sure if you ask him he would tell you the same. In his heart of hearts he probably wishes he finished his career as a Vol, as do a lot of Vol fans. But it worked out for him and for us. We eventually got Rick Barnes out of it and I greatly appreciate what he has done for our program also. We are even more competitive now than when Pearl was our coach. It’s bitter sweet and I think it’s possible to have love for both coaches and not put the other down. Both of them have been great coaches for our program and I have enjoyed having both of them here.

Yeah I sorely underestimated them because I didn’t think Daniel Jones would play this well. I thought Jacksonville would win the division preseason.

No body could have expected him to be this good in Indy! I picked Houston preseason. Can't trust pretty boy Lawrence. CJ Stroud looks AWFUL this season.

I just thought the new head coach in Jacksonville would lift Lawrence up like he did Baker. They are 2-1 so far but the offense doesn’t look that great.
