It means they ain't no good, but they gonna pay us a lot so we wear and buy their stuff. D@mn Gremans.
Speaking of Germans....back in the day when I was a younger man at The University of Tennessee, College of Engineering.....there was a glass display case in the foyer of Estabrook (RIP).....had a course catalog from the beginning of the 1900s on display....back then engineering students had to take four years of German. That's because the Germans had so many excellent technical papers. So, Dugout, there's your history lesson for today.

I wouldn't be getting through the first week if that was a mandatory class to take.

Lord have mercy I’m tired of all this Boo Carter drama. Just cut him and move on. I’m to the point where I don’t even care what the record is going to be this season. I just want kids that are playing together as a TEAM instead of individually.
Yeah, it's gotten to be too much. I wonder though...how much of the drama is driven by the media, and how much is driven by message boards and social media, and does the team really care about it? If the team doesn't care, play on.

What's he done now? I haven't seen anything all day about the Vols.

I think the team does care about it or else they wouldn’t have had a team meeting on how to handle Boo. If it were a nothing burger then Heupel would have said as much in the press conference about the issue initially and all of this would have gone away. Probably wouldn’t even be hearing about him being late. But Boo continues to make poor decisions even after it seemed he was on his way back into good graces. Literally the bare minimum of any team sport is showing up and participating in practice. What makes this even worse is these kids claim they want to make a career out of this sport. A NFL team will only put up with the nonsense if you are producing for them but even then it comes to a point where they will cut/trade you if you are not showing up/habitually late to practice.

Reports are he has shown up late to at least one practice, possibly two even after the meeting before fall camp. Also, his momma continues to be a loud mouth on social media. Nothing but drama surrounding the kid. Best just to move on from him.

If your mom is more concerned with what Deion Sanders and Colorado is doing than what Tennessee is doing then that’s a problem. They did this back and forth with Colorado since the beginning of their recruitment. Just tell them we’re making the decision to allow you to go where you actually want to be. Thank you for your time but you clearly aren’t all-in for this program. Or should I say “lack of time” since you don’t show up to practice?

Anyone that has spent time working in engineering has come across prints and specifications in German.
