Every school district I have ever heard of counts those days as excused because they realize the significance of the tournament with it being on national television. Kids have to makeup any schoolwork for those missed days though. Schools aren’t about to make headlines for all the wrong reasons and risk losing enrollment.I got a question about the LLWS....don't these kids need to get back to school? Sup with that?
Well, I'm not gonna argue that. But seriously, I'd hate for my daughter to miss the beginning of the school year. Granted, the kids playing in the tournament have a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I'm sure a great learning opportunity. Just always been curious....do they do school work remotely?I'd rather they learn life lessons of sportsmanship, winning, losing, etc. instead of WOKE Curriculum of 6th & 7th Grades...
just me, I guess...
Extremely team friendly if he continues getting better.
