I got a question about the LLWS....don't these kids need to get back to school? Sup with that?

Every school district I have ever heard of counts those days as excused because they realize the significance of the tournament with it being on national television. Kids have to makeup any schoolwork for those missed days though. Schools aren’t about to make headlines for all the wrong reasons and risk losing enrollment.

I think that would take away from his Billy Badass image. It shows his players he isn’t afraid to mix it up. Whenever he was with the Titans I remember him lining up and doing drills

I'd rather they learn life lessons of sportsmanship, winning, losing, etc. instead of WOKE Curriculum of 6th & 7th Grades...

Well, I'm not gonna argue that. But seriously, I'd hate for my daughter to miss the beginning of the school year. Granted, the kids playing in the tournament have a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I'm sure a great learning opportunity. Just always been curious....do they do school work remotely?

Extremely team friendly if he continues getting better.

The thought of him continuing to get better gives me chills considering he has a 0.400 OBP right now which is 2nd among qualified hitters (only Aaron Judge is better). And at 21 he’s got the 3rd best OBP historically of any player to debut at 21 or younger….only Trout and Soto above him.
