Yep, they were hellbent on trying to get that game in yesterday. Should have either pushed the start time up or gotten ahead of it and said it’s rescheduled for tomorrow.Sounds like a total CF. I guess Manfred can’t resist the allure of the “first MLB game in a state”.
Wonder when he starts that crap in Europe?
There are reasons Superb Owls are rarely scheduled in outdoor stadiums anymore. Florida and California being the exceptions.Yep, they were hellbent on trying to get that game in yesterday. Should have either pushed the start time up or gotten ahead of it and said it’s rescheduled for tomorrow.
You will get no argument from me. I did think it was a cool idea though and will always be a proponent of giving Tennessee national attention but they had to know this could possibly happen and if they just looked at the radar they could notified everyone ahead of time the game was getting rescheduled for Sunday. But we all know MLB doesn’t make logical decisions most of the time. There are reasons Superb Owls are rarely scheduled in outdoor stadiums anymore. Florida and California being the exceptions.
What could go wrong scheduling a baseball event in a temperate subtropical rainforest during monsoon season?
