Braves addressed the SS position in this year’s draft. I guess you could draft another and end up putting one at SS and one at 2B and let Albies move on. My preference is to go get the best pitcher available or best hitter available. You never know when a pitcher’s career will be over in today’s game so we need as many as we can get. Personally, I wouldn’t mind drafting either LSU OF Curiel or Georgia Tech OF Burress. I don’t see Michael Harris as a long term answer unless he makes some serious improvements in the offseason. Profar was only signed for 3 years so he will be a FA in 2028. Acuña will be looking for a big payday after 2028. We are going to need some serious help in the OF pretty soon. If we go pitcher, I’m going to have my eye on Flukey from Coastal Carolina.

If half the team is not listening or respecting Snitker then it’s best to just let him go and let Fredi take over the rest of the season. You can’t be having guys sneaking back into the clubhouse taking shots before games. Letting guys walk in runs in bases loaded situations. Continuing to put guys in late game situations that don’t deserve to be in those spots. Sorry, but it’s a damn circus and these are so suppose to be grown ass professionals.

If given the opportunity, I don’t think you can pass up the SS from UCLA, regardless of who was drafted previously.

I would prefer to see that kid play another season before we start anointing him as anything. He plays in the Big Ten and we all know that conference sucks. He didn’t do anything vs the SEC teams he faced this season. He could end up being a superstar but I’m going to reserve judgment based on the competition he goes up against.
