Probably. Hey, I'm all for folks getting paid what they're worth, regardless of gender, profession, etc. That being said, perhaps the phrasing could have been better 🤷‍♂️

The players are pissed off about Revenue sharing.... The League will not recover if the PA strike...

Any sport that a winner is decided by a vote is suspect. Just like gymnastics in the Olympics. The favorite always gets the benefit of doubt, and out scores everyone else. It’s all theatrics IMO.

I did a little research because honestly, I had no clue of the details and the new tv deal will have the WNBA operating in the green, even after factoring in the millions they lose annually.
Every other league in North America operates on basically a 50/50 revenue split between players and ownership. The WNBA is at 90/10 in favor of ownership.
It’s hard for me to say, because I don’t watch WNBA but I think that number could be bumped a little with the new tv agreement.
If the WNBA wants to grow and succeed, the first thing they need to do is shelve all of the political BS and just concentrate on putting out good basketball, and that goes for ESPN as well.
The second thing is make the players accessible to their young fans and instead of concerning themselves with my generation, which is probably not going to happen, market towards the next generation that can be won over.

Had a coffee made for me at Muji, a Japanese store, mainly just to watch it. The robot couldn’t get a good grip on the cup for the order of the person in front of me, so it still took a human to get it working properly. Also, a human would’ve prepared it quicker.
