I will likely regret bragging on my Jays taking over the AL East on a 7 game winning streak, and leading by 3 games. Not long ago the Jays were 8 games behind the Yankees. Of course it helps in 1 week the Jays caught up 6.5 games. Jays end the last 6 games before the break with the White Sox and the A's. Hopefully the Jays take advantage.

I saw him live many times. Had backstage passes for the Purple Rain tour. Front row seats for a show in Denver in ‘04. Saw one of his last shows.

Saw him in Nashville in the late 90s. Great show.

Same here, with the addition of news on how the new Lady Vols basketball team is coming together.

It's kinda like the old school rhythm, when classes are out for summer. You like to occasionally touch base with colleagues, and it's nice to bump into a student or parent at the store. But once summer football practice starts, you start driving by campus just to watch for awhile (if there's a shady place).

I consider volnation to be a shady place.

Has anybody ever heard of the stand-up comedian Ralphie May?
I'm on Youtube watching some of his routine laughing my butt off.
This guy was from Chattanooga, TN. Born there in 1972 but passed away
in 2017. He's very open w/his jokes where some folks would be offended.

I remember seeing some of his standup on Comedy Central growing up. I knew he wouldn’t live long unfortunately due to how obese he was. He either had a medical condition or ate his life away.
