Braves offense really does hate Grant Holmes. Yet another great outing and they can’t even score a single run for him. He goes 6 innings of 3-hit baseball, zero runs allowed and 10 strikeouts. Nothing to show for it but a big L in the loss column. He deserves better than that show.

Those Blue Jays are now only 1 game behind in the division. Still two games left in this series vs the Yankees. They finish with the Angels, White Sox, and A’s leading up to the All Star break so they have a favorable schedule to be in the catbird seat heading into the back half of the season.
