Wow! Not sure I had ever seen this version. Apparently was released in ‘84 to limited success. The MTV video made it skyrocket when rereleased in ‘85:

Hope that video won lots of awards for art, story, design, editing, and direction. IMHO one of the all time great cinematic creations (and I say this as an aficionado of movies from the 1930s-60s).

Cal Raleigh hit his league leading 32nd homer last night. He is now on pace to hit 40 prior to the All-Star break which would break Barry Bonds’ record of 39 in 2001. Personally I’m rooting for him to get to 74 at season’s end to knock that roided up douchebag off his pedestal.

Some of the creative problem solvers in this thread would've decided (after removing the towel) to play it safe, put the cycle in neutral, and tow it to a garage using the girl's bra as a rope.

If that guy could just flash-forward to his life 30-40 years down the road, he'd return to that moment, turn off the screen, and throw that controller out the window. But we're such idiots when we're young men.

Yeah, looking back, there were so many times I wanted sex, but more (I realize now) to get my mind off of things that were pressuring me. Maybe that's okay in a marriage; maybe that was totally selfish. And maybe she had those moments, too.

But all those times when we just cuddled or snuggled, with no agenda beyond being in the moment and enjoying each other's presence, often led to truly making love--not just having sex. And many of those "episodes" I can still replay in my mind, decades later, when so many other details of that life together have been lost.

Guess these memories are on my mind, having attended weddings the past two weekends, of some wonderful, special young couples from wonderful, special families.

I'd write them a book entitled "Learn from My Mistakes" ...if only I could stop generating new ones long enough!

He has now hit 30+ in three straight seasons and at least 27 in four straight. I don’t think 40 or even 50 would have shocked a lot of people this year, but the current pace he is on is all-time great. There have only been 6 players to ever hit 60 in a season and 3 of them were roid ragers.
