The Story behind the picture.

Vitello, who was an assistant at Arkansas before landing the Tennessee job, was asked about the phone call he shared with Razorbacks head coach Dave Van Horn last summer after the Volunteers won the College World Series.

Tony V explained that he remembered the conversation because it occurred the morning after the Vols spent all night at the hotel in Omaha celebrating the natty win.

According to Vitello, the celebration wasn't too rowdy, even though the police did end up showing up (apparently there's photo proof).

"I do remember it because I was shaking the cobwebs out from the night before," said Vitello. "Our families and fans -- we took over that hotel and I don’t know what time everybody shut it down. It wasn’t like a rowdy celebration, although the police did show up. There’s a picture that we could share, if you wanted to see that.

"I just remember it was early in the morning, and trying to get my bearings. From my side, it got kind of emotional. But he was very generous with some of his compliments and was appreciative of some things and I was, too."
