I think he was referring to getting a first bye had been a death sentence, at least in the NL. The Dodgers and Braves had gotten a bye as the 1/2 seed in 2022 and 2023 and both of them were put out their first series those seasons.

MLB should add two more teams from each League making playoffs. That's 1/2 of the teams making playoffs. The NBA and NHL does it, have first series to be 2/3 in each League.

Braves gave that dude his first series win as a manager and are now 27-36 in 1-run games since the start of last year. That is squarely on the manager with the roster he has. It’s expected for the Pirates to be bad.

Well hell Tradition was two Divisions in each League and only 4 teams made playoffs. Done changed it 3 times,what's one more..

Congrats to @VolPack22 for taking the NBA bracket challenge! Think I will at least be second (although potentially tied). Kinda sad that we at most got 1 of the 4 conference finalists correct though…

I just don’t think it’s fair to make a team sit for an entire week. It’s not the same as football where you would gladly take the extra days off. Pitchers are used to going out there every 5 days and hitters are used to playing nearly every day of the week. Completely throws everything out of whack.

I feel like if Steph was healthy the Warriors would be in the Conference Finals. I completely had the East wrong though. Just didn’t have any faith in the Knicks finally pulling through. Even with all the upsets, I think the Final 4 will be very exciting.

I can understand why you'd want this. You just want them to hand you the trophy
while not playing the other team that might be better than your favorite baby.

I just watched probably the 4th game all season(the other 3 involved the Knicks) and the Thunder spanked that @$$ for the Nuggets!
They dominated the 2nd half.
