Brother’s tweet, he sent me a screenshot of McKee liking it. But I can’t independently verify it unless I’m with him because you can’t see likes on Twitter anymore. Happy?I didn't say "said," I said "did."
Look, he's a Vol, and I hear from some people that his podcasts and his appearances on other shows are good, and that he can be a good announcer. Maybe he was just trying to suck up to guys in journalism or to be friendly, idk.
I also just found your disclaimer where you said you don't even know if the alleged "like" is fake or real, you declined to say whose post he is allegedly agreeing with, or whether it was the post you posted immediately before that. You're just out here stirring, frankly.
But the basic point of the post he putatively liked is that some dudes -- mad that we lost, and perhaps tired of blaming the fans for cheering improperly or "being taken out of the game" by the way the game unfolds (which happens in all spectator sports), or maybe nobody is buying that blame-the-fan stuff anymore (overused and stale), and being too cowardly to address Title IX, which has had a bigger effect on money for baseball than anything else -- decide they will cook up (or, in turn, "like") a lame, half-baked, hypothetical (about another hypothetical (the final content of the settlement), pending yet another hypothetical (that it will pass) in order to blame football for something that never happened to get a rise out of baseball fans. That is, to scare them, misinform them, and to piss them off. So, I stand by my earlier post. It's garbage in, garbage out.
Just a reminder the Braves are currently 3-3 vs 2 of the worst teams of all-time over the past two seasons (2024 White Sox and 2025 Rockies).
Rockies are on pace to finish 28-134. I would say that would be the ring leader of ineptness.Pretty bad, but probably not as inept at the 1962 NY Mets. In their initial season the New York Mets of the National League ended the 1962 season with a record of 40 wins and 120 losses, finishing tenth in the NL.
Yeah I think all of that was hypothetical... I doubt football will get 100% of the rev share pie, just a large chunk of it (70-75%)Also, not to white knight for McKee anymore than I already have but all sports talk is and all forums are is dealing in hypotheticals unless you only talk about stats and games already played. Why is this out of line? Or are you only a ****** fan if you talk about bad hypotheticals?
To piggie back off this one more time, Barnes would leave too if football got 100% of rev share. I know people here hate ADDW, but he's not going to scuttle 2/3rds of his athletic departmentAlso, not to white knight for McKee anymore than I already have but all sports talk is and all forums are is dealing in hypotheticals unless you only talk about stats and games already played. Since you brought the subject up. The Rockies have drafted Beck, Dollander and Halvorsen from Vols last few seasons. Mock draft has Rockies picking fourth, 3 guesses who the projected pick is..Maybe so, but the Rockies have a young stud, holding his own on the bump, that we should all be proud of.
Dolly pitched a nice game last night but lost 2-1.
I think it's mainly people hate how expensive it's gotten to attend UT games since he became AD. To which I would say this: Duh, we're good now. It's always gonna cost more to watch a contending team than a bad one. 10 years ago it cost me an arm and a leg to go to a Cardinals game.... now I can get tix for $5 because they suck.Who hates the best AD in the nation?
