I saw a graphic earlier tonight that said 13 playoff teams have come back from being down 3-1. Rockets in ‘95 and ‘15, GSW once… they didn’t mention the others.

Here's a breakdown of the 3-1 comeback teams, according to Sports Illustrated:

    • 1968: Celtics defeated the 76ers in the Eastern Division Finals.
    • 1970: Lakers defeated the Suns in the Western Conference semifinals.
    • 1979: Spurs defeated the Bullets in the Western Conference Finals.
    • 1981: 76ers defeated the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.
    • 1995: Rockets defeated the Suns in the Western Conference semifinals.
    • 1997: Heat defeated the Knicks in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
    • 2006: Suns defeated the Lakers in the first round.
    • 2015: Rockets defeated the Clippers in the Western Conference semifinals.
    • 2016: Cavaliers defeated the Warriors in the NBA Finals.
    • 2020: Nuggets defeated the Jazz in the first round.
    • 2020: Nuggets defeated the Clippers in the Western Conference semifinals.

Rudy Gobert has 27 points and 24 rebounds tonight. I didn’t like the Anthony Davis trade whenever it happened and it was for this reason. Zero big man presence for the playoffs. Lakers have a regular season roster, nothing built for a playoff run.

Congrats to Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Completely punked LeBron this series. I believe they said this was the first time the Lakers have lost a first round series being a 3 seed or better. Add that one to your legacy Faux GOAT.
