So glad EVERYTHING has worked out for you! I hope you have a great weekend and I pray you continued success in your recovery process. This isn't meant to be a political post, nor is it meant to be a religious one. It is a thank you; please bear with me.
We live in such a divided world right now. Just visit the Politics forum for more info. See the great "Tennis vs. Soccer Debate" of 2024 earlier in this thread. In the midst of our division and our differences, we all join in here as fans of the U. of Tennessee, and specifically as fans of this baseball team.
We are in the middle of Holy Week in the Christian season of Lent. All have heard the words of the Nazarene, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," and "Love your neighbor..."
I've followed this board for years, but I only joined and started contributing a few years ago, when I was starting 43 rounds of radiation radiation and two years of shots and chemo. The board gave me something to look forward to doing on those mid-week evenings TN baseball was streaming.
A few weeks ago, I finished my 720th dose of oral chemo. My hormone-blocker shots are slowly working their way out of my system and I feel better than I have in two years. To celebrate, my wife and I decided to travel in to the land of milk and honey over Easter weekend to watch TN baseball. I posted on the board, asking for tickets for sale. Very soon thereafter, I had offers, and not just for tickets, but tickets for free, and another offer for lodging during our stay.
I was, to say the least, overwhelmed by the generosity of those on this board, and the kindness and graciousness they extended to one whom they only know by a pseudonym on a college fan message board. My family and I have been touched by the graces of many over the last few years, and it is always inspiring to me to see the best of us in the midst of what is the often published or broadcast worst of us.
I want to express my gratitude to those on this board who have kept me informed and entertained with Tennessee baseball over the last few years. Special thanks to @taylorvol, @vol66, and others who reached out with offers to help make this weekend happen for me and my bride. We are humbled and grateful for your generosity and graciousness, and pray it may be returned to you one hundredfold.
Life is precious, y'all. Love your neighbor. Do unto others. Go Vols!

OK, so if BB is not ready to go this weekend, does TV start Antigua at short and move Curley over to 3rd? Just checked last nights box and answered my own question. Pitching will need to tighten up this next week.
We are glad to have you as a part of our dugout family! This isn't meant to be a political post, nor is it meant to be a religious one. It is a thank you; please bear with me.

A gentle reminder to all of us to be kind to others. Assume the best intentions from others vs the worst. You never know what others are going through. We all need more joy and kindness. This isn't meant to be a political post, nor is it meant to be a religious one. It is a thank you; please bear with me.
